“Primary exempt purpose to educate individual and the general public in the area of japanese language, culture, traditions and experiences in the st louis metropolitan area and surrounding communities, primarily through the operation of an annual japanese festival in the st louis area. To lessen community tensions and promote and foster a sense of community in the st louis missouri community and surrounding communities. To provide opportunities for other persons, groups, and organizations concered with japanese language, culture, and traditions and community memebers and memebers of surrounding communities to work together to conduct the japanese festival so as to educate individuals and the general public in the area of japanese langugage culture traditions and experiences and to lessen community tensions and promote a feeling of community among the persons, groups, organizations, st louis community members of surrounding communities. Program service accomplishments coordinated with the japanese consultate in chicago and other organizations in furhtering communication with japan through invitations and financial assistance in bringing japanese artists to the st louis environs”
