“The josephine lilly wolf foundation was formed in 2016 in honor of josephine lilly wolf. It was created to bring hope where little hope exists. The goal of the foundation is to have a profoundly positive impact on jamaican youth and share josephine's love for education by providing full tuition scholarships to graduating students of manning's high school. The success of our foundation will be measured by improvements in the quality of life of scholarship recipients, and their selection of service-oriented careers that will positively impact social justice in jamaica.”

“In 2024, the josephine lilly wolf memorial scholarship foundation (jlwmsf) continued its work of providing college scholarships to high- achieving students of manning's (high) school, located in westmoreland, jamaica. We added four new students in 2024, two who are currently attending the university of west indies and two who are attending the university of technology in jamaica. With those additions, our total number of current and prior supported students is twenty-one. Our new students are studying law, engineering, actuarial science, and environmental health. Like our prior students, our class of 2024 would not have been able to attend college without the support of our foundation. In 2024 we graduated four more students, bringing our total number of graduates to seven. In 2024 we held our fifth annual golf tournament fundraiser. We again had thirty-six registered teams, and many more people joined for dinner and games. The fundraiser was successful. We raised approximately 34,000, which was used to support new and existing students throughout the year. At the end of 2023 we started a new initiative to help our students get more involved in their community. The initiative, called lilly's hands, focuses on educational outreach. Our first two activities were held in the spring of 2024. Those activities included a book drive for area elementary schools and a short story competition for local high school students. By all accounts both activities were successful with over five hundred books donated/distributed and over fifty students participating in the short story competition. Finally, there were no changes to foundation governance or our board. We did, however, add new volunteers throughout the year.”
