“The 225 volunteers assist in many functions of the holocaust remembrance association. Approximately 40 are involved in the annual march, another 40 in the gala fundraiser. The board of 7 is a working board as well as another 7 volunteers man the office weekly. 10 docents assist at the the garden of hope and 20 volunteers were involved in the unveiling of exhibit three. The upstander stones project involves at least 100 volunteers.”

“Major educational initiatives holocaust garden of hope expansion: continued expansion of the interactive outdoor exhibit in kingwood, tx, including the installation of new sculpture pieces and completion of exhibit 3 focused on kristallnacht. Why remember the holocaust? Booklet project: designed a 40-page educational booklet with survivor stories and inspirational quotes to distribute at schools, events, and museums. Upstander stone project: launched the first full year of school and college engagement encouraging students to become upstanders, with custom-inscribed stones and curriculum materials. Texas historical commission grant: received a grant to digitize the holocaust garden of hope and make it accessible internationally as a virtual museum experience. Community engagement & public events march of remembrance events (aprilmay 2024): held public memorial marches in multiple texas cities including kingwood and dallas. Shabbat at the gate (monthly): monthly public gatherings at the holocaust garden of hope featuring israeli dancing, torah reflections, and stories of spiritual resistance. Feast of tabernacles & hanukkah events (fallwinter 2024): public celebrations incorporating jewish history, holocaust remembrance, and community education. Media coverage & public recognition featured in the houston chronicle, jewish herald-voice, and local abc/nbc affiliates. Honored by the texas holocaust, genocide, and antisemitism advisory commission. Participated in international programming through march of life. Educational partnerships partnered with texas a&m, lone star college, hcu, ust, smu for scholarships and holocaust education. Presented at educational conferences to expand garden curriculum and virtual exhibit use. Commissioned docents and trained volunteers to provide guided educational tours. International & interfaith outreach sent hra delegates to march of the nations in israel for reconciliation and remembrance. The march of life conference was a huge success. Collaborated with messianic jewish and christian organizations for education and healing. Infrastructure & capacity growth hired new staff and trained volunteers to support events and tours. Advanced 'the garden beyond the gate' traveling exhibit project.”
