“Boyd and joni edelbrock created big heart big smile foundation in memory of their six year-old daughter, kaci edelbrock. Her big heart and big smile are the driving forces behind the foundation. Big heart big smile is committed to helping local children in need in various ways including (but not limited to) sports sponsorships, sports scholarships, mhs graduate scholarship, donating stuffed animals to first responders / hospitals / other local agenices helping children in need, and giving back-to-school backpacks to children who need them most. Big heart big smile has a big vision of a "place" where children can play. A "place" that brings a smile to children's faces. This "place" includes (but not limited to) a playground, splash park, events center, baseball field, basketball courts, and other fields to facilitate free or low costs camps. The purpose of this "place" is to give kids (especially those dealing with trauma, homelessness, life changing events, illness, etc.) a safe, positive, and fun place to play. A place where they are free to smile and enjoy life even for a moment. Every child deserves to smile. Through the foundation's various programs and future goals, we are committed to providing many smiles to children who need them most.”
