“The community school collaborative (csc) achieved significant milestones this fiscal year in empowering youth through career exploration and community engagement. We successfully organized 6 cougar career days and 9 pop up clubs, providing 275 sleeping giant middle school (sgms) students with opportunities to engage with their local community. Through 11 job shadow placements, students gained hands-on experience in various fields. Our partnerships with over 50 local businesses and organizations have been instrumental in this effort, with these community partners generously sharing their knowledge. Additionally, our dedicated network of volunteers contributed to mentoring youth and supporting career exploration programs. This year, csc employed two staff members. Plus csc has a central office space in downtown livingston, solidifying our presence in the community and enhancing our ability to coordinate efforts and serve the youth of park county.”

WE SUCCESSFULLY ORGANIZED 6 COUGAR CAREER DAYS AND 9 POP UP CLUBS, PROVIDING 275 SLEEPING GIANT MIDDLE SCHOOL (SGMS) STUDENTS WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO ENGAGE WITH THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITY. THROUGH 11 JOB SHADOW PLACEMENTS, STUDENTS GAINED HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE IN VARIOUS FIELDS. OUR PARTNERSHIPS WITH OVER 50 LOCAL BUSINESSES AND ORGANIZATIONS HAVE BEEN INSTRUMENTAL IN THIS EFFORT, WITH THESE COMMUNITY PARTNERS GENEROUSLY SHARING THEIR KNOWLEDGE. ADDITIONALLY, OUR DEDICATED NETWORK OF VOLUNTEERS CONTRIBUTED TO MENTORING YOUTH AND SUPPORTING CAREER EXPLORATION PROGRAMS. THIS YEAR, CSC EMPLOYED TWO STAFF MEMBERS. PLUS CSC HAS A CENTRAL OFFICE SPACE IN DOWNTOWN LIVINGSTON, SOLIDIFYING OUR PRESENCE IN THE COMMUNITY AND ENHANCING OUR ABILITY TO COORDINATE EFFORTS AND SERVE THE YOUTH OF PARK COUNTY. |
