The Blues & Roots Digital Archive Inc

The purpose of the archive is threefold; first the historical preservation of blues and americana roots music by creating a permanent online archive of original, high quality, live performance video. Second, to educate the public to the historic and artistic value of these truly american forms of musical expression, by including in our archive interviews with the artists, documented recording sessions, showing the process of creating music, and documentary segments of people and places important to the music. Thirdly to promote these artists to a broader worldwide audience by providing them with the means to be seen, both on the archives website and through their own promotion methods using the video we provide these artists at no direct cost to them.
