Marketing efforts included promotion and marketing of the 8k association and the 8k ecosystem through attendance at tradeshows, speaking engagements, public relations, etc. While seeking to accelerate industry- wide adoption of 8k content, products, and services. Standards/compliance development efforts included seeking to ensure industry compliance with 8ka's device test and technical specifications, which specify a high level of audio and visual performance as well as interfaces to support the playback of 8k content. Organization members meet frequently to develop and maintain the 8ka technical specification. Additional efforts included a market audit of 3rd party 8k tvs.”
