“Open air is a community-based initiative that offers artist residency program and free activities such as artist talks, workshops and online events to the communtiy. 23 artists participated in open air '21 including 11 montana based artists. We facilitated three 5 week residency sessions and placed over 15,000 directly into the hands of artists in 2021. 439 attendees joined for 18 free public artists talks. We worked closely with over 2 dozen community partners to support creativity and education in western montana. We mounted 3 public exhibitions which drew over 500 attendees. Over 84 children and adults joined for 10 free art classes.”
