Mission and Program Overview

Mission

Educational

The main focus of 360Plus is to provide leadership development and learning opportunities to students through inclusive educational travel technology and cross-cultural collaborations. Our programs bring together communities that would otherwise not connect hence increasing international participation in global problem solving. In 2021 our activities were affected by the pandemic as international travel and in-person collaboration were not safe activities. We focused on the health and safety of the communities from which many of our students come particularly India and Afghanistan. We raised money to relieve the dire COVID19 situation in India and to help our students in Afghanistan escape persecution from the Taliban so they can continue their education.

Program Services

DescriptionGrantsExpenses
We fundraised for COVID19 relief in India and sponsored the Indian NGO: Social and Development Research & Action Group. This was done in partnership with a TYCIA another Indian NGO with whom we share beneficiaries. Together we formed India Against Corona IAC and a collective called ''Kasbai'' which consists of 1000+ on ground frontline workers from 16 states serving 80+ communities across India. Families in 30+ communities across 16 states in India have been impacted by the work. This has resulted in: 500+ vaccine registration 400+ families given rations and survival kits 20 families given financial support.$62,000$62,851
In 2020 the 360Plus Leadership Collective was excited to invite students from Afghanistan to our program for the first time. Their dedication to working internationally on problem-solving was exceptional even among a group of peers selected for their leadership qualities from twelve different countries. These students their families and the Afghan teachers that have mentored them have stood for the values of gender and ethnic equality free speech international cooperation and peace. When the Taliban took over in 2021 the lives of ours students and their communities were put at great risk. We have helped them cover expenses to migrate to safety including the costs for Humanitarian Parole in the USA.$16,136$16,136
Our flagship program the Leadership Collective was mostly on hiatus in 2021 due to the pandemic. However we maintained contact with our students and alumni. We provided video gatherings online events and made a donation to a school for the deaf in Beirut Lebanon with the intention of partnering with them in the future when student travel resumes.$1,000$3,222
