“Suiting program. Dress for success michiana helps women rediscover their inner strength and confidence. We provide business professional apparel and accessories to women who are job searching or working, and workshops that focus specifically on topics for women in the workforce. Poverty often affects women the most, and its effects on them and their families can be long-lasting. Therefore, addressing womens needs is central to improving the quality of life for not only that woman, but also her family, future generations and her community. Dress for success michiana is proud to be one of 144 global affiliates tirelessly and passionately empowering women. We want women to feel empowered in life, to support themselves and their family, and know that their contributions to the workforce and the community are valued. Dress for success served 339 women in 2024. We prepared 121 women for interviews by providing the essential interview suit and job interview preparation, and an additional 218 women received a capsule wardrobe of professional clothing for the work week. Our mobile suiting program assisted these women by providing professional suiting essentials (i.e. Blazers, dress pants, blouses) through our network of community partners. Dress for success hosted ten workshops in 2024.”
