“The Lake Creek FFA Booster Club is proud to support the students of the Lake Creek FFA Chapter with the funds raised at the Annual Steak Night fundraiser. The Booster Club supports the students in many ways such as supporting seniors with scholarships, nourishment during the county fair, travel expenses for major shows and competitions, awarding an annual livestock scholarship, livestock supplies and support for other FFA events as needed and approved by the Lake Creek FFA Booster Club. The Booster Club is proud to be able to support Lake Creek FFA seniors each year as they move onto college and pursue their passion. The number of scholarship recipients varies from year to year based on eligibility, number of applicants and funds available. Candidates are evaluated using a point system. Points are earned on academics, FFA participation in competitions, club officer positions held, community service, and other areas as noted on the scholarship application. The applicant will participate in an interview and review of letters of recommendation by the scholarship committee. Each year recipients are awarded their scholarship at the end of the year FFA Banquet.”
