Redtone's mission/focus emphasizes: 1) cultural preservation: music is a powerful tool in keeping cultural traditions alive. We are investing in "culture keepers," artists who are carrying on their cultural traditions through musical expression, performance, recording, video, etc. It is not unlike the work of john and alan lomax, recording artists all over the american south for the library of congress, capturing culturally significant forms of music and distributing them in an effort to increase public interest and ensure that these forms continue to exist. 2) positive messaging: 90% of billboard's annual "hot 100" hits consistently address three themes only: sex, drugs and money. We do not want to compromise our mission and message in order to compete with market trends. The nonprofit model allows our message and mission to be the only considerations in the creation of our works, ensuring that we only produce and promote positivity, regardless of whether or not the market is pointing that way. 3) community impact: music is a critical part of community movements, consciousness and health. Part of redtone's services will include the creation of music and messages that educate the public around community issues: education, healthcare, the environment, civic engagement, etc. Additionally, we will provide live music for community events, free of charge to event organizers, as a way to increase public participation and lift spirits. The costs of live music will be covered entirely by the record label. 4) youth impact: these messages of the modern music industry, because of their reach, shape collective conscience and influence younger generations. They encourage substance abuse, greed, promiscuity, the objectification and degradation of women, lack of critical thinking, etc. Meanwhile, there are incredible voices of community empowerment and positivity, both locally and around the world, whose impact is hindered because they don't have the resources to professionally produce and distribute music and video. It's hard to find a young person in east palo alto who doesn't have some aspiration of becoming a famous singer or rapper. These aspiring artists not only need to be flooded with positive music to combat what's on their radios and phones, but they need community-based, successful artists they can look up to, instead of idolizing only whom they see in the damaging imagery of modern music videos. The label will also have youth apprenticeships as well as youth songwriting competitions, incentivizing and monetizing positivity in youth culture.”

“2024 was mostly a year of sustaining ongoing support for the artists weve been working with the past few years. We produced tiffanis second redtone album while also sponsoring and co-producing a life-sustaining practices fellowship she created. Part of this fellowship included the creation of a podcast, recorded in our studio, focused on black health and wellness and featuring redtone music. We released effie zilchs 4th album, multitudes, a celebration of the sounds and spirit of a rich bay area musical legacy going back to san franciscos golden age of the counterculture movement. We released kiazi malongas second album, zu dia ngoma, with some singles having already been released in late 2023. Over this same period of time, kiazi and his musical mentor traveled extensively throughout congo- brazzaville, finding singers and musicians often in more remote communities and bringing them into the city to record their traditional music. Kiazi brought these recordings to our studio where we began organizing and mixing the recordings to produce a full album that will present a wide range of traditional musical styles from various congolese ethnic and language groups. Miko marks saw continued success as a touring artist and redtone ambassador. Highlights include: a 3-month tour with the trailblazing women of country revue; her first booking at stagecoach music festival, the largest ticketed country/americana festival in the world; and her first booking at san franciscos own hardly strictly bluegrass, one of the largest free festivals in the world, drawing hundreds of thousands of attendees. She also expanded her international touring to include several large festivals in canada. 2024 was the first year that redtones tour support yielded more profit than loss, a positive sign as we continue to explore our best strategies for sustainability. It even prompted miko to become the first redtone artist to donate some of her own proceeds back into the redtone organization with a generous 10k gift. We closed out the year with our first-ever fundraising house concert. The concert was hosted by a friend and new supporter of redtone at his home in palo alto. It was an amazing night with performances by each artist and a strong presentation of what we do and why we do it. We raised 35k at the event and are encouraged to create an ongoing series throughout the bay area.”

| IRS990/Desc | 0 | 2024 WAS MOSTLY A YEAR OF SUSTAINING ONGOING SUPPORT FOR THE ARTISTS WEVE BEEN WORKING WITH THE PAST FEW YEARS. WE RAISED 35K AT THE EVENT AND ARE ENCOURAGED TO CREATE AN ONGOING SERIES THROUGHOUT THE BAY AREA. |

THE LABEL WILL ALSO HAVE YOUTH APPRENTICESHIPS AS WELL AS YOUTH SONGWRITING COMPETITIONS, INCENTIVIZING AND MONETIZING POSITIVITY IN YOUTH CULTURE. |

| IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt | 2 | 2024 WAS MOSTLY A YEAR OF SUSTAINING ONGOING SUPPORT FOR THE ARTISTS WEVE BEEN WORKING WITH THE PAST FEW YEARS. WE RAISED 35K AT THE EVENT AND ARE ENCOURAGED TO CREATE AN ONGOING SERIES THROUGHOUT THE BAY AREA. |
