Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The calm committee is exempt from federal and state income taxes under section 501(c)(5) of the internal revenue code and applicable california revenue and taxation code sections, respectively. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken by the calm committee and has concluded that, as of december 31, 2020, there are no uncertain positions taken, or expected to be taken, that would require disclosure in the financial statements. Calm committee is subject to routine audits by the taxing jurisdictions; however, there are no audits for any tax periods in progress. Management believes calm committee is no longer subject to income tax examinations for the fiscal years prior to 2017.
