Program service accomplishments - our primary purpose is to provide continuing medical education for physician assistants (pas) and nurse practitioners (nps). Our primary program service accomplishment in 2018 was our 42nd annual utah pa&np conference that was held at the snowbird ski and summer resort in snowbird, utah on august 8-10, 2018. 28 medical professionals provided talks on a range of topics focused on information helpful to pas and nps in their daily practice. 36 vendor/exhibitors displayed products and services that can be used in the work of nps and pas to help patients in need who may have physical and/or mental challenges. Conference participants submitted evaluation feedback that will be used as we select speakers for the coming years and to improve the conference. We applied for and received accreditation (19 credit hours), so we could offer continuing education (ce) to nps and continuing medical education (cme) hours to pas. We mailed a save-the-date- postcard and bro

ONSITE, WE PROVIDED EACH ATTENDEE WITH A SYLLABUS, CONTAINING CONFERENCE INFORMATION AND PAGES FOR NOTES. EACH ATTENDEE ALSO RECEIVED A NAME BADGE AND LANYARD THAT SYMBOLIZED THEIR AFFILIATION WITH THE CONFERENCE AS WELL AS INDICATED THEIR REGISTRATION VERIFICATION. WE HAD 215 ATTENDEES. WE MADE SPEAKER SLIDES AVAILABLE ONLINE SO EACH PARTICIPANT COULD DOWNLOAD THEM, PRINT THEM OUT, OR REFER TO THEM ONLINE DURING PRESENTATONS. Signage was also provided onsite in order to identify the conference and the location of onsite registration to the attendees. Utah pa&np conference group (ucg) funded a lunch for participants as well as breakfast each morning. A vendor provided a speaker along with lunch on one of the days. Ucg paid for the audio visual and other presentation needs such as lcd projectors and presentation computers. Ucg paid for the conference website and online registration system that allowed potential registrants to find out about the conference and register.”

OUR PRIMARY PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENT IN 2018 WAS OUR 42ND ANNUAL UTAH PA&NP CONFERENCE THAT WAS HELD AT THE SNOWBIRD SKI AND SUMMER RESORT IN SNOWBIRD, UTAH ON AUGUST 8-10, 2018. 28 MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS PROVIDED TALKS ON A RANGE OF TOPICS FOCUSED ON INFORMATION HELPFUL TO PAS AND NPS IN THEIR DAILY PRACTICE. 36 VENDOR/EXHIBITORS DISPLAYED PRODUCTS AND SERVICES THAT CAN BE USED IN THE WORK OF NPS AND PAS TO HELP PATIENTS IN NEED WHO MAY HAVE PHYSICAL AND/OR MENTAL CHALLENGES. CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS SUBMITTED EVALUATION FEEDBACK THAT WILL BE USED AS WE SELECT SPEAKERS FOR THE COMING YEARS AND TO IMPROVE THE CONFERENCE. WE APPLIED FOR AND RECEIVED ACCREDITATION (19 CREDIT HOURS), SO WE COULD OFFER CONTINUING EDUCATION (CE) TO NPS AND CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME) HOURS TO PAS. WE MAILED A SAVE-THE-DATE- POSTCARD AND BROCHURE AN DIFFERENT INTERVALS TO POTENTIAL ATTENDEES AS WELL AS HAD AN EMAIL MARKETING CAMPAIGN. ONSITE, WE PROVIDED EACH ATTENDEE WITH A SYLLABUS, CONTAINING CONFERENCE INFORMATION AND PAGES FOR NOTES. EACH ATTENDEE ALSO RECEIVED A NAME BADGE AND LANYARD THAT SYMBOLIZED THEIR AFFILIATION WITH THE CONFERENCE AS WELL AS INDICATED THEIR REGISTRATION VERIFICATION. WE MADE SPEAKER SLIDES AVAILABLE ONLINE SO EACH PARTICIPANT COULD DOWNLOAD THEM, PRINT THEM OUT, OR REFER TO THEM ONLINE DURING PRESENTATONS. SIGNAGE WAS ALSO PROVIDED ONSITE IN ORDER TO IDENTIFY THE CONFERENCE AND THE LOCATION OF ONSITE REGISTRATION TO THE ATTENDEES. UTAH PA&NP CONFERENCE GROUP (UCG) FUNDED A LUNCH FOR PARTICIPANTS AS WELL AS BREAKFAST EACH MORNING. A VENDOR PROVIDED A SPEAKER ALONG WITH LUNCH ON ONE OF THE DAYS.
