“Art exhibitions that features the work of artists council members. The artists council conducted 2 major art exhibitions and public receptions. Artists council exhibition (ace), our second show at the galen in palm desert, honoring long-time ac supporters barbara and jerry keller, was an outstanding success. Works by 82 artists were displayed; 1200 attended the opening, and an average of 175 visitors came each day from (november 7-22, 2019). The 5th annual artistic expressions of the coachella valley was held in partnership with ucr, palm desert was held at their facility. Over 100 art works were on display with over 500 attending the enthusiastic opening with the show running from january 6-31,2020. The artists council also participated in exhibiting at the public aap food samaritans online charity auction.”

“Professional developement of artists through educational workshops and classes. The artists council conducted 6 workshops and 3 full-day or weekend classes. Additionally 3 art lectures were organized in partnership with the university of california (ucr), palm desert. One was held while the other 2 were called off because of covid-19.”
