The form 990 is prepared by the organizations outside public accountingfirm based on information provided by management. Once a draft of thereturn is available, it is reviewed by management with any changes orrevisions incorporated into the filing. The revised return is thensubmitted to the board of directors for their review and approval prior tosubmitting to the irs.

Conflict of interest policy compliance Part VI line 12C

Monitoring is performed regularly by the officers to identify potentialconflicts of interest. Any question of a conflict is addressed with theinterested person, who is required to disclose the existence of anyfinancial interest and be afforded the opportunity to disclose all materialfacts to the board and executive director. If a conflict of interest isidentified, the appropriate action is taken, including limitations to theindividuals influence on related business matters.

The board reviews data regarding the compensation paidto similarly qualified individuals in functionally comparable positions bysimilar organizations within the geographic region. The board deliberates anddecides on any adjustments to compensation of employees for the upcomingyear. Decisions are recorded in the minutes of the board meetings and in separate instructions to the executive director to implement the decisions.
