“1st Program Service Accomplishments: We do not charge for our services or require the survivors that we assist to have insurance. While we do not provide therapy or 24/7 crisis support yet, we do provide unconditional community support to survivors. Our Human Advocates use the most up to date trauma-informed care and practices as they listen to, encourage, and help survivors of human trafficking and abuse receive the help and resources that they require to meet their life goals. General services offered: Providing care packages, building life skills and coping skills, discussing how to build a healthy support system, providing psychoeducation on various topics related to human trafficking and abuse, providing a list of local community resources that can help meet their needs and goals, helping contact and link survivors to appropriate community resources when needed, and offering adult education in a variety of skills. Engaging Minds Services is a TVAP(Trafficking Victim Assistance Program) Provider. In 2022 Engaging Minds Services received 52 referrals. Out of the 52 referrals, Enageing Minds served 43 clients. Out of the 52 referrals, 40 received care packages and hosted or participated in 15 community forums to bring awareness to the center and cause. 31 of 52 were referred by USCRI for Case Management; 18 of 52 were referred for counseling; 2 of 52 were referred for Housing Assistance; 1 out of 52 only needed financial assistance.”

“2nd Program Service Accomplishments: This program is a year-long program that addresses human rights, and social and emotional development. Our teachers consist of law enforcement, the Coastal Region Human Trafficking Taskforce, and educators.”

“3rd Program Service Accomplishments: The mission of ROSE is to foster the advancement of girls to make positive life choices while building self-esteem and giving back to their community. This program is held weekly to promote a series of weekly life skills workshops group, with a focus on confidence/self-esteem, etiquette, finances, higher education, decision making, and communications skills. This program is aimed to point girls into making positive life choices and growing into womanhood. This program also stimulates collective thoughts of young women through discussions and panel forums. The topics focus on issues facing young women like "Body Image," "Valuing Yourself," "Growing up without a Dad," "Identifying Positive Role Models,X and "Leadership 101." Leaders/Guest Speakers will facilitate these discussions and will add their thoughts, feelings, and their unique experiences.”
