“In 2015, sopo found a new home. This reduced our rent and put us more in a neighborhood where we have become part of the community. Our earn-a-bike program for homeless people, the link, had a successful crowdfunding campaign and recieved a grant from united parcel service (ups). We have been working hard to expand the program. Our volunteer coordinator has been expanding our training and our volunteer corps. We have continued working with the greater bicycle community in atlanta by co-sponsoring events and coordinating efforts. We added outdoor repair stands at our new shop that provides the community access to tools when we are not open.”
