“The purpose of the organization is to provide campbell county and the greater northeastern wyoming region with opportunities to enjoy high caliber live symphonic performances, to learn about and develop an appreciation for symphonic music performed with local and regional musicians who share the organization's desire to inspire musicians and audiences alike, in an effort to enrich the cultural life of our region.”

“The powder river symphony offered three concerts during the 2021-2022 season. Participants who have benefited from the concert season include volunteer and local musicians from northeastern wyoming, guest artists, paid regional musicians, prso volunteer board members, orchestra administrators, school children in the campbell county schools and the general public.”
