The let's get together program is offered 5 mornings a week and is a program that engages individuals who are at risk of developing dementia. The 5th street cafe is an in person memory cafe for individuals in the early stages of dementia and meets twice a week, simultaneous with the care partner support group. A variety of activities are provided as well as lunch.”

DFFW OFFERED NUMEROUS FAMILY RESOURCE CALLS AND OFFERED 262 VIRTUAL ACTIVITY PROGRAMS. THE SERVICES OF DEMENTIA FRIENDLY DURING 2024 IMPACTED MORE THAN 1,200 UNIQUE INDIVIDUALS WITH DEMENTIA, CARE PARTNERS, CLERGY, FIRST RESPONDERS, HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, MEDICAL STUDENTS, AND PROFESSIONALS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO HAD MORE THAN 200 VOLUNTEER ENGAGEMENTS, WITH NUMEROUS VOLUNTEERS SERVING ON A REGULAR BASIS. |
