(first grant installment of $100,000 in 2024.)this grant is to support the work of salla treatment and research to build capacity of patient-led rare disease organizations to develop a prioritized research agenda, convene their communities, and accelerate collaborative research in areas of scientific focus (rare as one cycle 3 rfa).in 2024, the foundation launched a large-scale fundraising campaign. Donations were solicited to support scientific proposals to support research on promising therapies for free sialic acid storage disorders (fsasd). Fundraising campaign continued into 2025.”
