However, they may also be teaching at the school and if so, they have to leave the meeting for any salary or compensation discussed, as to not influence the process, for their compensation in their paid position as a teacher of the school. Board officers do not get paid for their duties. The compensation for duties such as operations and teaching of the actual day to day school is set at the market rate and we do most of our hires on indeed.com.
