The Okutonda Project

The purpose of this organization is to invest in children through the pursuit of their hearts with programs that focus on meaningful interactions and preventative health-care. The mission statement of The Okutonda Project states: The Okutonda Project is an organization incorporated to create children through the relentless pursuit of their hearts with programs that promote health, reconciliation, and belonging. Our vision at The Okutonda Project is to create children through the relentless pursuit of their hearts through outreaches in Masaka Uganda, as well as across the country of Uganda. The Okutonda Project will begin with the creation of a pediatric clinic and childrens home in Masaka, Uganda. While doing this, The Okutonda Project will continue their process of reintegration, as they reunite children with their biological relatives. As we continue to grow, we will expand across the country reaching as many communities as possible. We will share the vision of investing in the lives

The okutonda project is currently assisting a group of children in masaka, uganda. While it is not currently a formal ugandan organization, it is home of around thirty children ages 0-18. We are responsible for ensuring that each child at the home is sponsored. These funds allow each child to attend a private school and provide for medical-care if and when it is needed. We also work to raise funds as we implement sustainable projects. We are currently raising the funds necessary to purchase a van, which will make the childrens home one-hundred percent sustainable. In addition to this, we are raising the funds to re-build this home and establish it as a formal organization in uganda. In order to do this, we fundraise each month from the general public. We have raised sufficient funds to allow each child to attend a private school and have medical care when it is needed. We are continuing to raise funds for the van and the re-construction of the home.
