“Our beyoutifull girls empowerment workshop is our most significant event extended to young girls ages 10-18 beyond union county. For the past six years, the event has grown in size, and just last year, we hosted over 120 participants, 50+volunteers, and presenters. The workshop included educational sessions led by educators, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and business professionals. The educational workshops focused on mental health and wellness, financial literacy and entrepreneurship, self-confidence, peer support, and sisterhood. There were additional workshops to include a mini spa experience to pamper the girls as we provide them with comfort, kindness, and care. In addition, there was an arts and crafts workshop for creative expression, a slay with confidence runway, and a uni community service: in june 2024, we partnered with citizens bank, during which one of our mentees won the civic pitch competition. Her compelling video pitch secured a grant of $2,687.50 to support initiatives aimed at assisting the homeless community in elizabeth, nj, through the provision of food and hygiene care product bags. With these funds, we successfully distributed free food to the homeless population and residents of the city. Additionally, we created 150 personal hygiene bags, which were donated to the elizabeth coalition to house the homeless. Overall, the event was a resounding success with the engagement and participation of the girls serving their community, making a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. Womens empowerment luncheon, an annual fundraiser that raises funds for our mentoring program. In 2024,125 guests were in attendance. We hosted a distinguished panel featuring accomplished women from diverse backgrounds who shared their insights, expertise, and valuable perspectives on various topics essential to the growth and empowerment of women. The panel discussed topics, also highlighting the importance of equity, opportunities, unity, and mentorship. The environment is empowering with a room full of leaders who aim to inspire the next generation to take initiative and lead with confidence. This event also empowers our girls, fostering their dreams and ambitions, and offers resources for the girls to evolve into women with vision and purpose. We also presented awards to women making”
