Compensation decisions are informed by publicly available comparability data including salary information obtained through GuideStar by Candid review of Form 990 filings from similarly sized nonprofit organizations with comparable missions and regional cost-of-living data. Current organizational revenue budget constraints and operational needs are considered as part of the review. Proposed compensation is reviewed and approved by independent members of the Board of Directors who do not have a conflict of interest. The deliberation decision and approval of compensation are documented contemporaneously in meeting minutes and retained as part of the organizations official records.”
