The applications are made available through the LAH Up website and routed to the LAH Up Director. The LAH Up Director confirms that all necessary information has been included in the application prior to the committee review. The committee meets to review and approve fundraisers for eligible individuals experiencing a medical crisis who reside in Cass (ND), Clay (MN) counties, as well as several cities in Becker (MN) county. The volunteers and/or family recipient must provide bank statements and other supporting documentation to be eligible for the LAH Up Boost, up to a maximum of $5,000.00. A check is issued and presented to the LAH Up fundraising recipient payable to their approved benefit fund located at a local bank.
