Though Africa as the whole is least affected, Sub-Saharan Africa was more impacted because of the lack of decent hospital and medical infrastructures. For instance, in Senegal-West Africa where we operate our pilot program the impact of COVID-19 is exercabated by the abject poverty under which these Talibe live. In addition, the full lockdown imposed by goverment authorites deprives them of their main source of income - panhandling which creates a double whammy.
