“Courtland, alabama and the surrounding area suffered from a lack of broadband availibility. Courtland development council ("cdc"), with the assistance of the local council of government, was able to secure a grant in the anount of 165,158 from the appalacian regional commission. Cdc entered into a contract with traveller multimedia, llc, of huntsville, alabama to construct and initiate a broadband network in courtland, alabama. The work began in 2020 and was completed in early 2021. The system is up and operating successfully for local residences, businesses and governments.”
