DescriptionGrantsExpenses
Last year, We started a collaboration with BRIC Media/Brooklyn Free Speech and launched our new Series: Beyond Gender, featured every Mondays and Wednesdays of the month at 6.30pm on Spectrum, Optimum, RCN and Verizon and online streaming (BRICartsmedia.org/1 and on NYXT.org). Weve continued to produce video interviews featured on our website and on social media page (https://www.facebook.com/womanityproject) and have organized lectures, slideshow presentations and workshops in Brooklyn in collaboration with our partners, Nova Frontier Film Festival and Bailey's Cafe. We started our Youth Program Development and facilitated various Improv Workshops in Schools and Non Profit organization. We produced our first Short documentary film "LaLa's World" featuring LaLa B Holston-Zannell, the Trans Policy Manager at ACLU and presented the trailer of our Series on The Glass Ceiling at the Sunny Side Doc Film Festival. Our goal for 2020 is to extend our presence in Brooklyn District 36, expand our services to local schools and Senior communities and to continue to grow our expanding community.--
