“The pearl farmers market association (formerly, pearl farmers market association llc), established september 2017, maintains a membership of central texas farmers and ranchers, prepared food vendors, and artisans of specialty items located within 150-mile radius of the pearl brewery (a san antonio historic site). The association seeks to improve the business conditions and practices of its members by providing a world class marketplace located in a popular community location, the pearl. At the market, the association works to provide business expansion for its members through the direct marketing and sales of their products in the san antonio and surrounding area, as well as providing the community access to healthy, fresh foods, horticultural products and other quality value added products, and further provides the public with educational events and materials that relate to healthy eating habits.”

Weekend market days- a true representation of our south texas growing ranching and artisanal food community, features a producer-only farmers market on saturday, followed by a sunday market with a bigger emphasis on artisanal and prepared foods. 2. First thursday night market at the pearl - local vendors and artisans from the pearl farmers market join the pearl at the beginning of each month for pearl's first thursday night market. This monthly night market features live music, dining, and shopping specials. 3. Veggie valet service booth - volunteers provide shoppers a convenient place to store their purchases for pickup upon their exit from the pearl. 4. Monthly flag service identifying "in season" produce to enhance shopper awareness of the best produce available throughout the year. 5. Chef cooperatives - weekly food preparation demonstration - local chefs demonstrate meal preparation using local goods sold at the market (every hour). 6.
