“The cove- family healing program accomplishments: 1.families served: an average of 10 families per week, comprising 10 women and 14 children. 2. Volunteers/staff: supported by 10 dedicated volunteers and staff members. 3. Sessions held: weekly meetings on thursdays from 5:30-8pm, with monthly sessions during the summer and a two week break in december, totaling approximately 46 sessions annually. These sessions included a shared family meal, age-appropriate curriculum for mothers and children, and emotional and spiritual support designed to promote safety, connection and restoration. The cove-family healing program objectives are 1. To create a supportive, faith-based community where survivors and their families can connect, heal and grow. 2. To provide a safe nurturing environment for families to develope stronger bonds and experience restoration. 3. To offer programming that fosters spiritual and emotional growth for moms, teens and children. 4. To reframe the significance of mealtime by providing a weekly shared meal experience.”
“The 1:1 care, counseling and case support program accomplishments:1.clients served: an average of 4 individual counseling sessions per week, totally approximately 208 sessions annually. 2. Session duration: sessions range from 1.5 to 2 hours each. Emergency crisis clients average 2-3 hours per session, with several emergencies each month.3. Additional services: care, counseling and case support services include assisting clients with identifying and meeting immediate needs, helping clients secure protective orders, giving emotional and spiritual care, crisis response, safety planning, advocacy and providing referrals to partner agencies and community resources. The 1:1 care, counseling and case support program objectives are: 1. To provide indiviualized trauma-informed 1:1 client care on an ongoing basis similiar to counseling support. The frequency and depth of sessions varies based on individual need, ranging from brief check-ins to more intensive, extended sessions. 2. To help clients navigate practical challenges while providing emotional and spiritual support. 3. To equip individuals with tools to rebuild lives, restore confidence and find hope in their future.”
“The community & church education program accomplishments: 1.jennifer's harbor provided domestic violence education to three churches, reaching approximately six participants per training. 2. In addition, jennifer's harbor participated as a training organization in a large nonprofit community education event focused on faith and domestic violence, contributing expertise and instruction alongside other presenters. Approximately 45 nonprofit and community leaders were in attendance. These efforts strengthened community response and increased organizational capacity to support survivors within faith-based and nonprofit settings. 3. Content delivered: topics included the signs of domestic violence, the impacts of abuse, a community-based prevention and understanding human trafficking and how to respond effectively. The community & church education program objectives: 1. To raise awareness about domestic violence and human trafficking and their effects on individuals, families and communities. 2. To educate attendees on how to recognize and respond to signs of abuse and exploitation. 3. To empower the community to play an active role in preventing violence and trafficking while supporting survivors in practical ways.”
“We walk alongside women through a variety of programs and 1:1 crisis care services. In addition to providing support and services to individuals and families in need, we spearhead an education program for community members on the importance of healthy relationships, as well as a special education program for churches on how to recognize and respond to domestic violence. In 2025, jennifer's harbor facilitated four life after the storm support groups, serving a total of approximately 20 women. This structured healing program supports women recovering from abusive relationships through trauma-informed education, peer support, and guided reflection focused on rebuilding identity, confidence, and healthy boundaries. Jennifer's harbor hosted a girlfriend getaway retreat in 2025, with approximately 44 women in attendance. This retreat provided a restorative, faith-centered environment focused on encouragement, connection, and emotional and spiritual renewal for women impacted by trauma.”
