Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The tides mission is to keep the mother-child dyad intact by engaging pregnant women with opioid use disorder in the recovery process regardless of race, color, creed, sexual orientation or national origin of the mother or child. Mothers and their children may participate for 6 - 12 months depending on the amount of time needed to achieve positive outcomes. Recovery is seen as a gradual, ongoing process of cognitive change through clinical interventions. Participants set personal objectives as they advance through the stages of treatment.

TIDES OPENED A NEW LOCATION IN MOORE COUNTY FROM JANUARY 2023 TO MARCH 2024. THIS LOCATION PROVIDED THE SAME SERVICES AS THE WILMINGTON LOCATION BUT CLOSED FOR LACK OF FUNDING.
