The organization's financial statements are consolidated with its parent company's financial statements, and, as such, the organization follows its parent company's oversight and selection process. There has been no change to the process.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Nochi is exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue service code. However, income from certain activities, which are not directly related to nochi's tax-exempt purpose, would be subject to taxation as unrelated business activity. Nochi did not have any unrelated business activity for the years ended december 31, 2024 and 2023. In addition, nochi qualifies for the charitable contribution deduction under section 170(b)(1)(a)(vi) and (vii) and has been determined not to be a private foundation under irc sections 509(a)(1) and (3), respectively. The supporting organization is exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)(2) of the internal revenue service code as a title holding corporation. However, income from certain activities, which are not directly related to nochi's tax-exempt purpose, would be subject to taxation as unrelated business activity. The supporting organization did not have any unrelated business activity for the years ended december 31, 2024 and 2023. The organization is generally no longer subject to examination from taxing authorities for years before 2023.
