The members of the Board of Directors of the Foundation are appointed in the following manner: Three initial Directors are members of the Board of Commissioners of the Concordia Parish Hospital Service District No. 1 and are appointed by the Board of Commissioners of the Concordia Parish Hospital Service District No. 1. Two Directors are not members of the Board of Commissioners of the Concordia Parish Hospital Service District No. 1 but are appointed by the Board of Commissioners of the Concordia Parish Hospital Service District No. 1 and are also residents of Concordia Parish. The subsequent 2 Directors appoint their own replacement Directors that are residents of Concordia Parish.

The Foundation believes that it has appropriate support for any tax positions taken affecting its annual filing requirements, and as such, does not have any uncertain tax positions that are material to the financial statements. The Foundation would recognize future accrued interest and penalties related to unrecognized tax benefits and liabilities in income tax expense if such interest and penalties are incurred.

Continued on Schedule O.These funds are being used toward the construction of a new hospital building for Concordia Parish Hospital Service District Number One of the Parish of Concordia, State of Louisiana dba Riverland Medical Center located in Ferriday, Louisiana. The NMTC Program permits taxpayers to claim federal tax credits for making Qualified Equity Investments (QEI) in a designated Community Development Entity (CDE). The CDE must use substantially all of the proceeds to make Qualified Low-Income Community Investments (QLICI).
