Program Services

DescriptionGrantsExpenses
United Communities Corp. provided assistance to over 40 families by distributing food, clothing, and other essential resources to address immediate and urgent needs. In addition, the organization conducted community outreach to 150 individuals experiencing homelessness by supplying critical winter clothing items, including gloves, hats, socks, and shoes, as well as essential hygiene kits. These efforts were aimed at supporting vulnerable populations and improving health, safety, and overall well-being within the community.$5,000-
United Communities Corp. also participated in "Gambling Screening Day" program by hosting multiple informational session about gambling within our community by providing the information to english and non-english speaking community member. United Communities Corp. reached and screened over 140 people with the screening questions and provided community members with the much needed information.$5,000-
United Communities Corp. provided multiple Narcan trainings throughout the year to underserved, non-English-speaking communities. By meeting participants where they were, such as hosting training sessions after church services in community meeting halls the organization was able to ensure accessibility and engagement. United Communities Corp. also distributed educational literature translated into participants? primary languages to ensure full understanding of overdose prevention and response. Through these culturally sensitive and language-accessible trainings, the organization successfully trained over 300 individuals. As a result, participants are now better equipped to recognize an opioid overdose and administer Narcan to assist someone in need.$2,500-
