MISSION To bridge refugee and immigrant communities with local populations through the love of international food and entrepreneurship. R Bazaar will serve as a positive and inclusive influence that showcases cultures through products or food. R Bazaar supports the refugee and immigrant communities through an emergency supply and cultural food provisions pantry. WHY To celebrate ethnic food, experience new flavors, and to support entrepreneur projects and individuals within those communities. WHO Attendee target: Denver residents who are curious about food and culture outside of their normal circles and who are supportive of refugees and immigrant communities, as well as residents looking to learn how to prepare and shop for authentic, ethnic ingredients. Primary vendor target: New and arriving displaced populations wanting to share their home country foods and handmade arisan goods. Local established vendors looking to participate in R Bazaar are asked to serve as mentors or consider

The long-term goal is to create a permanent brick and mortar market once we have established supporters, vendors and funds for expansion. WHO Attendee target: Denver residents who are curious about food and culture outside of their normal circles; supportive of refugees and immigrants; also, those looking to learn how to prepare and shop for authentic, ethnic ingredients. Primary vendor target: New and arriving displaced populations wanting to share their home country foods; those in need of a job and social enterprise support; and/or organizations and individuals who operate programs or sell products that benefit refugees.
