The mission of jay county drug prevention coalition (jcdpc) is to empower youth and adults through education, awareness, advocacy, and relationships to strengthen an improved quality of life for all. Our goals and focus are to (1) promote community-wide awareness and information sharing regarding substance use, (2) engage in education enforcement, treatment, and prevention efforts, and (3) coordinate and facilitate collaboration among community partners. The mission of jay county drug prevention coalition (jcdpc) is to empower youth and adults through education, awareness, advocacy, and relationships to strengthen an improved quality of life for all. Our goals and focus are to (1) promote community-wide awareness and information sharing regarding substance use, (2) engage in education enforcement, treatment, and prevention efforts, and (3) coordinate and facilitate collaboration among community partners. Our vision is to improve the quality of life of individuals and families.

Jcdpc is a not-for-profit organization, exempt from federal income tax under the provisions of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and qualifies for the charitable contributions deduction. Jcdpc has been classified as an organization that is not a private foundation under the provisions of section 509(a)(1) of the internal revenue code. Jcdpc is also exempt from state income taxes. Jcdpc provides liabilities for uncertain income tax positions when a liability is probable and estimable. Management believes that it has appropriate support for any tax positions it has taken or expects to take and as such, does not have any uncertain tax positions that should be recognized, measured, or disclosed in the financial statements. Management also believes jcdpc is no longer subject to examination by tax authorities for years prior to december 31, 2021.
