| IN 2024 WE SAVED 29 DOGS. 21 WERE ADOPTED IN 2024. WE PROVIDED FREE SPAY, NEUTER, MICROCHIPPING AND ALL REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. | $0 | $68,198 |
| We rescued 5 dogs from the Paterson shelter that would have otherwise been euthanized due to space and lack of proper evaluations We have a trainer that will now assess the more difficult dogs to make sure they are adoptable. All 5 dogs are living in wonderful homes Please dont judge a book by its cover, shelter animals deserve that opportunity to show their true personality | $0 | $0 |
| Method Man was stuck in a rough inner-city shelteroverlooked, unwanted, and out of time. Labeled as just another lost cause, he was set to be euthanized without ever being truly seen. But we saw him. Despite his heartbreaking situation, he was gentle, sweet, and full of love. We couldnt let his story end there. So we stepped in, pulled him out, and gave him the second chance he deserved.Today, Method Man is thrivingand even made it on NJ12 News. Hes just one of many dogs weve rescued from that same shelter. Every one of them is now safe, loved, and living their best life. Why? Because we believed in them when no one else would. And that made all the difference. | $0 | $0 |
| The second dog was Papo. Papo and his dad had recently come to the NJ area from North Carolina. Papos dad had a place to stay until the family member realized Papo was part of the package. Papo and his dad were put out by family and they were both living in Papos dads car. When Papos dad reached out to us to surrender Papo, we wanted to give them the same opportunity we were giving Penguins family. We housed Papo and his dad in a dog friendly hotel, mostly with the help from one donor. We also found Papos dad another opportunity to work, doing what it is Papos dad does, but at a higher pay rate. Through all this, Papo was still surrendered to us. After being surrendered, the same donor who paid for all the hotels, decided to try to foster Papo for us. Unfortunately, the resident dog was not fond of Papo. This same donor paid our trainer to Board and Train Papo. Papo spent quite a few months with K9 Training with Byron, from October 2023 until Papo was adopted in February 2024Biggie On June 3, 2023, we received a call from the Paterson Animal Shelter that they had a dog in their custody that was microchipped to Brick City Rescue. Upon us looking into this, it appears that the dog was a found as a stray in March of 2022 and we had temporary custody of the dog until he was reclaimed by the owner during March of 2022. We had tendered the owner the microchip info as well as the vet record of vaccines, and also made a follow up vet visit, on Brick City Rescue, to have the dog neutered. We never saw this dog again, until June 3, 2023. We reclaimed the dog from the Paterson Shelter. We took him to ER vet to see if he was ok. Then followed up with our regular vet. It was clear to everyone that this dog was in pain. His joints were swollen and he had a limp. We renamed this dog Biggie. Biggie was the biggest mush we had ever met. He was approx. 8-9 years old, but his body was worn down from his life living outdoors on hard surfaces that we thought Biggie was approx. 11 years old. Biggie resided with our Treasurer, Veronica for the time being. Biggie was a good companion for Veronicas senior dog. He fit in. He was on so much medication for his arthritis. We had to move Biggie temporarily to another volunteer while Veronica traveled for work. During this transfer to the other volunteer, she noticed Biggies joints were starting to split. She took him to our vet, and that is when we received the news that Biggie was not living a good life. He was suffering. So as much as we comforted him, and medicated him and just let him be lazy, he was hurting and his quality of life was not good. It sadden us to no end, that we had to put Biggie down. Biggie was surrounded by all of us when the time came and his ashes went home with us. We celebrated Biggie by generating awareness to what had been his life. We filed charges against his previous owners, only to have the Passaic County Prosecutor turn down our case. We created shirts and stickers in his memory, reminiscent of Biggie Smalls. It was all a dream. | - | - |

| IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt | 0 | The second dog was Papo. Papo spent quite a few months with K9 Training with Byron, from October 2023 until Papo was adopted in February 2024 |
| IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt | 1 | Biggie On June 3, 2023, we received a call from the Paterson Animal Shelter that they had a dog in their custody that was microchipped to Brick City Rescue. |
