| End The Violence initiative The End The Violence (ETV) initiative is the brainchild of long-time Community Activist Sean S. Stevenson. Birthed from his past and genuine desire to see positive change in his city, and others like it, Sean is a living testament to the effectiveness of ETV (an Elements of Change partner). Once a prodigy of the underworld filled with hostility and brutality, he is now a practitioner of peace; with a mission of eradicating violence in the streets of America...one city at a time. We're always looking to establish safe spaces" for all, especially for youth from 14 to 19-years old. These safe spaces have included a music studio, a coffee house with jazz, a bookstore and most recently, a boxing gym. It is here that young gang-bangers and the most at-risk persons can come for conflict resolution, mentorship, jobs, and a place to stay out of trouble. Today, the End The Violence (ETV) initiative, a frequent partner of Elements of Change, has a national network. | $0 | $108,946 |
| Pathways Forward Pathways forward is as described; creating pathways forward for those in need, those underserved, and those most likely to fall into cycles of poverty, substance abuse and/or violence. We seek to provide basic human needs, assistance, as well as route them to other wrap around services as needed. By facilitating pathways to economic stabilization, education and health, we're able to truly create pathways forward. | $0 | $42,500 |
| Social Prooof Social Prooof is our community app that aims to bring greater social proof and visibility to safety situations as well as positivity that's either in progress, or needs to happen. Visibility can be protection, connection, or projection. Our goal is to make the frequency & nature of hostile interactions visible so that healthy interactions are encouraged and bad ones are discouraged. It's also to highlight the good in the world as well. We hope to create an app in a way that also helps us create qualitative and empirical data for the other work we, and others do in the community. | $0 | $356 |
