All covered individuals sign an acknowledgement that they have received a copy of the policy, understand it, and agree to abide by its terms. If the board has reasonable cause to believe that a member has failed to disclose an actual or possible conflict of interest, it shall inform the member of the basis for such belief and afford the member an opportunity to explain the alleged failure to disclose. If, after hearing the response of the member and making such further investigation as may be warranted in the circumstances, the board determines that the member has in fact failed to disclose an actual or possible conflict of interest, it shall take appropriate disciplinary and corrective action.”

“Indivisible civics does not directly hire or compensate employees. All employees are employed by indivisible project, an unrelated organization exempt under section 501(c)(4). The cost of salaries and fringe benefits are allocated under the terms of a cost-sharing arrangement based on the level of effort. Indivisible civics reimburses indivisible project for its share of these expenses. We are reporting the payroll expense as under a common paymaster arrangement, and the number of w-2s reported on part v, line 2a, salaries reported on part vii for the officers and salary expense reported on part ix reflect the personnel and amounts allocated to indivisible civics. As reported on indivisible project's 990: compensations of the officers are reviewed by the board of directors. The board of directors relies on appropriate comparative data; compensation levels for comparable positions in similar organizations; and regional economic data and document the bases upon which the board relies for its compensation determinations. The last compensation review took place in december 2024.”
