“Program accomplishments for breathe life ministries for 2024 2024 was our seventh full year of ministry led by our two directors, steve and jamie wiechman. Steve is an ordained pastor who received his m.div. From concordia seminary - st. Louis, mo in 2003. Jamie is a former school teacher and homeschool mom who earned her advanced certificate in christian counseling from concordia university - irvine, ca in 2018 and is currently enrolled in the masters of psychology program at divine mercy university. We ended 2023 anticipating operating breathe life at the same part-time level in 2024 (two directors of 10-15hrs/week each). The lord provided substantially through the 2023 end-of-year campaign that propelled us well into 2024. Steve continues to pastor trinity lutheran church in rosenberg, tx for 30 hours per week. Our partnership with the texas district of the lutheran church-missouri synod continues to provide clients as well as opportunities to work with groups. Our 2024 end-of-year campaign was dismal, bringing in just over 5,600 of the 30,000 goal. In 2024 we interacted with: >19 different individuals >6 different couples >23 different groups/gatherings we conducted over 60 sessions in 2024 (a significant drop from our high of 170 in 2023): >every session we did was done at a reduced cost or for free to the client we continue to love what we are doing and are seeing an impact in the lives of the people we serve. While we served less people, we have walked with a handful of leaders for extended periods of time, seeing deeper growth and transformation. We are grateful for a continued partnership with the texas district of the lutheran church-missouri synod. In 2025 we anticipate keeping breathe life at the same level of operations as 2024, with plans to grow our church partnerships from two churches to six or more by the end of 2026.”
