Program accomplishments: in 2020, skidmark cle ran its shop class programs across northeast ohio, serving 150 students in over 300 hours of class. The students represented 12 schools, predominantly come from families of modest means, meaning 8 of the 12 schools involved have a majority of their population receiving free and reduced lunch. The remaining students come from 4 schools that are all-girls schools. Skidmark cle stayed committed to its mission of equity. Through a global pandemic, skidmark cle pivoted quickly to provide virtual, hybrid, and when safe, in-person programming. These programs continued to spark confidence, resilience, and grit through motorcycle building, inspiriting students to build their own future.
