Mission

Dkef nonprofit affiliate of daily kos, is a new nonprofit created to elevate stories, ideas, and solutions from people whose voices are critical to a reflective democracy.

To educate the public about means of involvement in the democratic process; to encourage participation by citizens in public policy debates and the civic process and providing tools and methods to facilitate such participation; to encourage and facilitate participation by citizens in the political process on a nonpartisan basis by providing information and assistance in registering to vote and voting, on a nonpartisan basis.
