The sedgefield pto strives to support and enhance the educational needs of our students by fostering relationships among the school, parents, teachers and administration. The pto strives to enhance the educational experience offered at sedgefield middle by developing and supporting intiatives, projects and programs that promote professional developement and provide resources to improve the educational environment. “In 2024-2025 the pto purchased supplies and materials to support students, including start-up school supplies for all teaching staff, technology platforms and subscriptions, additional novels, the pto funded scholarships for the washington dc field trip, field trip meals, and student crisis needs. The pto fully funded grade level field trips for all grades. The pto purchased technology items to support students including upgraded sound system, slab roller, printer head for poster maker, rolling white boards, vape detectors, and chromebook inventory scanner. Campus improvements included new blinds for the caf, new gym tarp cover, office chairs and benches. The pto partnered with a local theater company to put on a school drama performance.
