Mission and Program Overview

Mission

To reduce the number of families with children who are experiencing homelessness in the area. The school system's last report indicated over 175 children fit the federal definition of being homeless. Each provides case management and oversees the program. Congregations serve as "villagers- and provide both social and financial safety nets for the families. In some cases the villagers provide housing. In other instances each arranges housing and financial support.
