The purpose of HEPP is to bring multiple collaborative services under one roof, in effort to provide community-integrated health to residents who would not otherwise have adequate access to services. HEPP holds the title to a parcel of real property located at 1720 W. Broadway, Louisville KY 40210. This facility was under construction during 2019, with official building dedication and grand opening on December 18th.

The YMCA of Greater Louisville is a mission-based membership organization of people of all ages, backgrounds, faiths & abilities, all working side-by-side to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to live life to its fullest. Our mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. We have three areas of focus: Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. At the root of our Movement is our commitment to character development embodied in the Y's core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility; everything we do stems from this. We have affordable membership and program rates for everyone, and we provide financial assistance to those who need it. The Y is committed to nurturing the potential of youth, promoting healthy living, and fostering a sense of social responsibility and building the Foundations of Community.”

The Organization files informational tax returns in the U.S. federal jurisdiction and with the Kentucky Office of the Attorney General. However, income from certain activities not directly related to the Organization's tax-exempt purpose may be subject to taxation as unrelated business income. These include the YMCA (mental, physical, and spiritual health), Norton Health Care (pediatric and family medicine clinic), ProRehab (physical therapy), Family and Children's Place (behavioral health), Republic Bank (fiscal literacy, asset building and protection), and Gilda's Club (support community for those affected by cancer). These services will be built around combining strong and trusted brands, seamless integration of services, ease of access, strong relationships with constituents and providers, and delivery by servant leaders. Internally, partners will agree to collaborate in such a way that multiple needs can be met driven by building relationships and trust, and cross referencing services in a familiar, welcoming way. Barriers will be reduced and impact can be increased. This is a bold and unique project incorporating a wide array of services delivered in a highly coordinated manner. |
