The Mission of New Nation Youth Center is to assist with the transition to the higher standard of culture of today's youth. We produce productive, well-equipped youth ready to enact change which benefits our society. Stabilizing communities by assisting with social services that benefit the participants we serve via educational services, job development, mentoring and a host of other programs.

| Due to the pandemic NNC services where placed on hold. In the month of September NNC did have our 2nd annual Back to School Picnic. NNC provided over 500 backpacks filled with supplies and tablets. Picnic Partners included, Reliant Energy, Target, Ross Dress for Less. | $0 | $3,000 |
| Currently we are working with a group of young women apart of the Buckner International Next Step Program. These young women come from all racial background and have aged out of foster care. Our program provides services in, Anger Management (Loss of Freedom, Respect, Identifying Triggers, How to express your anger, What do you do when your angry, How anger effects your health, Understanding your anger), Social skills (Human Interactions, Understanding Emotions, Self-Control) Career Development ( Interviewing Skills, Retention, Dealing with Co-Workers, Importance of following company rules, Employment Laws), Finding your life's purpose, Finances (Art of Budgeting, Living on Your Own, Buying a Home, Credit, Saving and Investing, In Financial Trouble), Supportive Relationships (What is a Healthy Relationship, Healthy vs Unhealthily Relationships, Relationship Boundaries). These classes are given twice a month from January to December. Each topic will identify the participants individual problem, understand their problem and develop a plan to correct their problem. Through both text and real-world situations, participant are able to gain a better understanding of the issues that might hinder their development in life and also learn how to deal with problems that may pose issues in the future. This will prepare youth and young adults for a more stable future, giving them the tools, they need to maintain a positive production way of life. Participant are also involved with community service efforts to help boost a sense of self pride. This program will continue with expansion into the community to help the youth and young adults in Dallas County. Currently teenagers and young adults between the ages of 16 and 24 who are neither working nor in school. The youth disconnection rate in greater Dallas is 14.9 percent; approximately 128,000 teens and young adults there are not working or in school. The least connected neighborhoods in the DFW area are Oak Cliff and South Dallas at 25%, Southeast Dallas (Bucker Terrace, Everglade Park, Pleasant Grove) 25.1%, Fair Park and West Dallas 34.4%, while other areas in the DFW have an overall 15.6%. Our goal is to lower these numbers over 5 years period through our mentoring and educational programs, community activities and sports programs. | $0 | $2,000 |
