Vortex volleyball club in davis county utah is about elevating athletes to perform to the highest level. While club volleyball is absolutely about winning; it is also about discipline, good sportsmanship, molding youth into successful adults, learning true team spirit and respect - of one's self, teammates, coaches and game staff. Vortex focuses on the experience of growing as a team family into a unit that trusts and loves one another, on and off the court. “Salaries for sports and recreation directors can range 42,000 to 130,000 per year, which was gathered from salary.com, salarylist.com and 1.salary.com. When vortex was first organized, the director's pay was established as a percentage of overall revenue. That percentage was initially set at 16%. Before the 2020-2021 season the board discussed all salaries and voted to increase the director's pay to 18%, and increase the coaches pay from 1,600 per coach to 1,800 per coach for the season. The pay follows the growth, likewise it follows any loss of business year over year. The compensation fits in the "just below average" category as it stands today.”
