Part VI, Section B, Line 11B

The organization follows a structured process to review Form 990 prior to its submission. Once the form is prepared by the organizations accountant or tax preparer a draft is provided to the Executive Director and members of the Board of Directors. The form is then reviewed for accuracy completeness and alignment with the organizations records and activities for the tax year.

Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

Addressing Potential or Actual Conflicts Pre- or Post-Transaction: If a conflict is identified before a transaction the involved party is either recused from the decision-making process or the transaction is restructured to eliminate the conflict. If a conflict is discovered after a transaction has occurred the Foundation conducts a review to assess any undue influence or benefit. Appropriate remedies may include rescission of the transaction reimbursement or disciplinary action depending on the nature of the conflict. HOJ fosters a culture of resilience and accountability ensuring that conflicts are not only addressed but used as learning opportunities to refine internal controls and decision-making procedures

Additionally financial statements whether or not audited were accessible to stakeholders and the public through formal request or distribution at public meetings presentations and events.
