“To stop, prevent, and heal the effects of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence in lemhi and custer counties.”

“Lemhi county crisis intervention (lcci) continues to provide an emergency shelter, 24 hour crisis hotline, legal aid referrals, counseling, and support to families and individuals in need in lemhi and custer counties. Lcci provides community education through domestic violence awareness month activities, youth education, law enforcement education and awareness, and adult education activities. Lcci maintains partnerships with the idaho coalition against sexual and domestic violence, the local judicial system and law enforcement, local mental health providers, the lemhi county humane society. The eastern idaho community action partnership, steele memorial hospital, the school district, social services, the salmon arts council, lemhi's after schools promise, the sacajawea center, the working together group, and the va. Lcci has received grants through the idaho council on domestic violence and victim assistance, the idaho housing finance association, the steele reese foundation, and a number of other grantors. Current efforts seek to create a fund development plan and implement strategies with a focus on diversification of revenue sources. Activities for this year include: the strong girls club held during the summer months; assisting with tuff stuff for girls, held several fundraisers, maintaining a website for lcci; transitioning to a new executive director; supporting numerous clients.”
